A dust collection and extraction system is used to separate and collect tiny dust particles from dusty gases. Trimech India manufactures bag type dust extraction systems that uses physical filtration method to separate the tiny dust particles. This process includes passing of the dust-laden gases from the bag house during which the dust particles are extracted and collected using fabric bags.

In this process, the tiny dust particles get collected on the fabric surface. This fibers are placed in perpendicular direction to the gas-flow. While passing the gas, instead of changing direction with gas stream, dust particles strike the fibers.

Such a system offers great efficiency with the bag type dust extraction technique. But we need to remember that to get the most out of it, the filters must be cleaned periodically as the dust cake forms on the filter as the time passes which eventually increases the resistance to gas flow.
